The 4 Cs have been adopted by multiple school districts. I keep pondering what that looks like. How do we make those 4 Cs roll easily off the tongue? We know that learners remember the first and last things you say to them - or teach them. With that in mind, I offer the following: Creative, Critically thinking, Collaborative Communicators If students, or all people for that matter, are encouraged to be Creative Communicators, the two Cs in the middle will naturally begin to develop. Of course, we need to encourage and support those middle items. They aren't like the fluff in the middle of an Oreo! This incredible graphic from Educational Technology and Mobile Learning and thanks to Kathy Schrock, sums up how we can facilitate those 4 Cs in the classroom. |
